Mr. McFall has taught at Rural for 14years. He is the DECA sponsor. He teaches Business Essentials, Personal Finance, IB/Honors Business Management, Marketing Management and Auditing. He also is the sponsor for the WRHS Bank and Morning Common Grounds. He has received his Bachelor’s Degrees from Fort Hays State University and his Master’s Degree from Emporia State University.

 Business Essentials

Business Essentials is the perfect way to begin both the Marketing and Finance pathways. This course gives students an overview of business, marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, and accounting.

 Business Communications

Students will gain experience using Adobe Products, Microsoft Office and general office procedures. This course will help students develop an understanding and appreciation for effective communication in business situations and environments. Through a hands-on approach, students will create, produce and publish documents for our school and community.

 Information Technology in a Global Society

This International Baccalaureate course is the study and evaluation of the impacts of information technology (IT) on individuals and society. This elective course explores the advantages and disadvantages of the access and use of digitized information at the local and global level.

 Personal Finance

Elective for Kansas Qualified Admissions

This course enables students to understand the principles and practices of money management. Students learn how to navigate the financial decisions they must face and to make informed decisions related to career exploration, budgeting, banking, credit, insurance, spending, taxes, saving, investing, buying/leasing a vehicle, and living independently.

  Marketing Management & Audit

Take what you learned in Marketing and apply it to a real business – Common Grounds Coffee. Generate new, fresh ideas and marketing tactics to help sell as much product as possible.

   Banking & Finance – Investing

Banking and Finance provide students with an overview of the American monetary and banking system as well as types of financial institutions and the services and products they offer. Course content may include government regulations; checking, savings, and money market accounts; loans; and investments. Students will manage the daily operations of the WRHS Bank.
