Mrs. Sommers has been at WRHS for 6 years. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from UMKC and a Masters of Education from Rockhurst University. She also has 8 years of Banking experience as well as 16 years of teaching experience!
Computer Applications
This course provides students with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access), with an integration of internet-based applications such as Google Docs.

Marketing Applications – The Shack
Marketing Applications furthers students understanding of marketing with an emphasis in product development, pricing, advertising, and collaboration with business, staff, and students. Student will be required to create new products, fill orders, promote products, manage inventory, manage revenues and expenses, and operate machinery. The students primary focus will be the student run store, “The Shack”, and will also be responsible for other business ventures with the WRHS Bank and Common Grounds
